Dr. Elizabeth Huffman

Ellie Liechty-Huffman, DNP, FNP-C, BSN-RN

After graduation, Dr. Huffman plans to work as a Family Nurse Practitioner in a rural, underserved area. Her interests include expanding treatment options in the community for substance use disorder and integrating functional medicine into her practice. Through her eight years of RN experience, she has worked in progressive care, telemetry, critical care, and the emergency department. Additionally, she values investing in individuals entering the nursing field, as demonstrated by serving as a simulation instructor, clinical instructor, capstone mentor, and preceptor.
